YouTube channel Moore’s Law is Dead has published the first technical details about the new AMD graphics card, which is expected to be presented under the name Radeon RX 9080 XT. The new product is expected to be focused on high performance in both games and professional work scenarios.
According to the source, the Radeon RX 9080 XT will have up to 32 GB of video memory (GDDR7 on a 256-bit bus), a base clock frequency of 3.7 GHz with automatic overclocking to 4.0 GHz in Boost mode, and a power consumption figure (TGP) of around 450 W.
In terms of gaming performance, the RX 9080 XT is expected to deliver a 15-40% increase over the RX 9070 XT, especially in 4K gaming. Overall average performance is expected to increase by around 28%. The new product is also expected to support the improved FSR technology that AMD announced at Computex 2025. The company itself has not yet commented on the insider data.
