Microsoft Launches Free AI Video Generator Based on Sora- The Bing app now offers a free tool to create short videos powered by the Sora model. Unlike similar tools, this one doesn’t require a subscription but has some limits.
With Bing Video Creator, users can make up to 10 videos in a 9:16 aspect ratio, each lasting up to 5 seconds. After that, creating additional videos costs 100 Microsoft Rewards points. These points can be earned by using Bing for searches (five points per search, capped at 150 points daily) or by shopping in the Microsoft Store.
Before making a video, you can pick between a faster or normal creation speed—though even the faster option currently takes several hours. Videos are saved on Microsoft’s servers for 90 days. The service is available on iOS and Android but is blocked for users connecting from Russia and China.
