AOC presented the K27U3D monitor, which it positions as a premium model. The new product, whose trump cards are high image definition and a decent set of interfaces, is primarily aimed at professional use.
The monitor’s face is a 27-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 5120×2880 pixels (5K), a refresh rate of 70 Hz and a response time of 4 ms (GtG). The peak brightness of the backlight is 600 cd/m², and the color gamut is 100% sRGB. In addition, AMD FreeSync technology is supported to eliminate frame tearing.
The device’s body features HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB Type-C ports with charging functionality, as well as a USB hub with multiple Type-A ports, making it easy to connect peripherals.
There are additional USB ports and a KVM switch on the side of the monitor. The price and sales date of the AOC K27U3D will be announced later.
