HUAWEI has unveiled the Pocket 2 Premium Edition foldable smartphone. Compared to the original model released in 2024, the new product has a more powerful processor, and its price, on the contrary, has decreased.
The smartphone retains a 6.94-inch main screen with a resolution of 2690×1136 pixels and a frequency of up to 120 Hz, as well as an auxiliary one, the diameter of which is 1.15 inches. The Kirin 9020A processor is responsible for the performance of the HUAWEI Pocket 2 Premium Edition. According to the vendor, it provides a 20 percent increase in performance compared to the chip installed in the Pocket 2 model.
The rear camera module of the smartphone includes a main 50-megapixel sensor with OIS, an ultra-wide-angle 12 MP, a telephoto (8 MP, 3x optical zoom) and a spectral sensor with a resolution of 2 MP. The smartphone supports the proprietary XMAGE technology and the XD Fusion Pro engine to improve the quality of photos.
The autonomy of the new product is provided by a 4520 mAh battery with 66-watt fast charging. The list of features is supplemented by water protection according to the IPX8 standard, the ability to expand the storage using NM memory cards, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and NFC modules.
HUAWEI Pocket 2 Premium Edition went on sale in the Chinese market in 12/256 GB and 12/512 GB memory configurations priced at $767 and $837, respectively.
