It’s hard to believe, but The Witcher III: Wild Hunt debuted a decade ago. Recognizing the action RPG’s long-standing legendary status, Microsoft has joined CD Projekt in celebrating its anniversary.
The company announced special Xbox controllers adorned with symbols from the third “Witcher” game, even releasing a dedicated trailer on YouTube to showcase them. These gray accessories, featuring the medallion of the School of the Wolf prominently displayed in the center, were offered in two versions (unfortunately, not available in Russia):
- Standard – $80
- Xbox Elite Series 2 – $170
Unsurprisingly, both gamepads were already sold out at the time of writing. Interestingly, the aforementioned CD Projekt collaborated on the development of these controllers. This follows CD Projekt’s recent release of a new promotional video for The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, also timed for the game’s anniversary, as well as special artwork highlighting Ciri, a key character in the upcoming The Witcher IV.
