Nubia has announced the launch of two new gaming smartphones in China under its Red Magic brand: the Red Magic 10S Pro and the Red Magic 10S Pro+. These devices stand out with their notch-free screens, active cooling systems, overclocked flagship processors from Qualcomm, and high-capacity batteries.
Nubia Red Magic 10S Pro+
Both new models are powered by an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 “for Galaxy” chip, with CPU clock speeds reaching up to 3.3 GHz. The top-tier configuration of the Pro+ boasts a massive 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The Pro+ version is equipped with a substantial 7500 mAh dual-cell battery supporting blazing-fast 165W charging (achieving a full charge in just 19 minutes, according to some sources). The Red Magic 10S Pro features a slightly smaller but still impressive 7050 mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
A key highlight of the Red Magic 10S Pro and Pro+ is their advanced active cooling system. This “ICE 13.0” system incorporates liquid cooling, graphene layers, and a high-speed mini fan that spins up to 20,000 RPM to effectively dissipate heat during intense gaming sessions. Notably, these are the first smartphones from the brand to feature a pre-installed PC emulator, enabling users to potentially run and play games from platforms like Steam directly on their devices.
Nubia Red Magic 10S Pro+
Both smartphones sport the same immersive 6.8-inch AMOLED display with minimal bezels and no camera cutouts, thanks to an under-display front-facing camera. The display boasts a resolution of 2480 x 1116 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz for smooth visuals. The devices also include a dedicated Red Core R2 gaming chip, which assists with optimizing game performance, enhancing visuals, and providing features like customizable shoulder triggers.
On the right side of the phones, pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers with a 520 Hz touch sampling rate offer enhanced control in games. The smartphones also feature dual X-axis linear motors for immersive haptic feedback and powerful stereo speakers for rich audio.
The rear camera setup includes a 50 MP main sensor (Samsung GN5), an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 16 MP front-facing camera discreetly hidden beneath the display.

In the Chinese market, the Red Magic 10S Pro starts at a price of 3999 yuan (approximately $555 USD) for the 12 GB + 256 GB configuration. The top-end Red Magic 10S Pro+ with 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage is priced at 6499 yuan (approximately $903 USD). These new gaming powerhouses are currently available for order in China, with global availability details expected to be announced later.
