Publisher Bandai Namco and developers FromSoftware continue to stir up excitement around the upcoming release of their co-op roguelike action game Elden Ring Nightreign. The companies have unveiled the project’s premiere trailer.
The events of Nightreign will unfold parallel to the story of Elden Ring in an alternative version of the Tomb — the Tomb Steppes. These lands once flourished under the protection of the gods, and now they are devoured by the night.
Players, as Night Walkers (eight archetypes to choose from), must survive three days (15 minutes each) in the Grave Steppes and defeat the Night Lords, powerful enemies threatening the region.
Fans in the comments were mesmerized by the majesty of the Elden Ring Nightreign scenes shown in the trailer. “Only FromSoft can make suffering look so beautiful,” user ComboMemo noted .
They promise a three-player co-op (a two-player mode may be added after release), bosses from the Dark Souls series ( the project director explained why they were added ), alternative skins (including familiar ones) and text translation into Russian.
Elden Ring Nightreign will be released on May 30 at 1:00 Moscow time on PC (from 2849 rubles in Russian Steam ) and exactly at midnight on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. The other day, the developers showed the seventh of the eight night wanderers.
