The AMD Ryzen AI Max 385 mobile processor, announced earlier this year, has appeared in the Geekbench database. The published test results allow you to evaluate the computing capabilities of the chip, which can be useful when choosing a laptop or mini PC based on it.
Ryzen AI Max 385 is an eight-core mobile CPU based on Zen 5 architecture with a maximum clock speed of 5.0 GHz and a 32-core integrated Radeon 8050S (RDNA 3.5). According to the test protocol, the processor scored 2489 and 14,136 points in the single- and multi-threaded discipline, respectively, when used in the HP ZBook Ultra G1a laptop.
For comparison, the 16-core flagship Ryzen AI Max 395+ scores around 2900 and 17,200 points in similar tests. The processor has also been spotted in the Framework modular mini-PC and in one of the modifications of the HP ZBook Ultra 14 laptop . The aforementioned ZBook Ultra G1a goes on sale today, starting at $2,599.
