The popular Chinese neural network Kling has received a major upgrade, significantly enhancing the realism of its video generation capabilities. According to recent online examples, the updated model now delivers video quality on par with Google’s recently introduced Veo 3.
Developed by Kuaishou Technology, Kling 2.1 features improved algorithms that produce more lifelike visuals with fewer artifacts. The AI can generate videos in 720p (Standard mode) and 1080p (Professional mode). For users subscribed to the Master mode, the system offers even more accurate output that closely matches the original input.
Currently, Kling only supports image-to-video animation, where it brings still images to life. However, future updates will expand its capabilities to include generating videos from text prompts, key frames, or multiple images.
Kling 2.1 is available for free with a monthly allocation of 166 credits. In this model, a 5-second video costs 20 credits in Standard mode and 35 credits in Professional mode.
