Dell Introduces Premium Laptops with OLED Screens and NVIDIA Graphics Cards

Dell has released a new series of Premium laptops. It includes two models equipped with high-performance hardware and OLED displays, as well as their IPS modifications, which boast impressive battery life – up to 27 hours.

The Dell 16 Premium is equipped with a 16.3-inch OLED screen (4K, 120 Hz, Corning Gorilla Glass 3). The maximum backlight brightness is 400 cd/m², and the color gamut is 100% P3, there is HDR support. The modification with an IPS screen has a lower resolution (1920×1200 pixels), and higher brightness – up to 500 cd/m².

The laptop’s performance is provided by an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H, Ultra 7 255H or Ultra 7 256H processor, depending on the configuration, in combination with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050, RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 graphics card. The manufacturer measures battery life in terms of how long it takes to watch Netflix series – for the OLED version, this figure is up to 9 hours, for the IPS version – up to 27 hours.

The list of features is completed by stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, up to 64GB of dual-channel LPDDR5X-8400 RAM, Wi-Fi 7, up to 4TB of SSD storage, and a 1080p webcam.

Dell 14 Premium received a 14.5-inch OLED matrix with a resolution of 3.2K, and the IPS modification differs from the 16-inch only in the diagonal. The hardware is the same as the older model, except that this version does not have a modification with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor. Operating time is up to 11 hours for OLED and up to 27 hours for IPS, and only the RTX 4050 is available from video cards.

The Dell 14 Premium is priced in the US starting at $1,650, while the Dell 16 Premium starts at $2,700.
