Elden Ring Nightreign Patch Makes Solo Play Easier

Elden Ring Nightreign, an experimental multiplayer spin-off of the popular action RPG Elden Ring, was released a few days ago. While the game is designed for co-op battles with friends or strangers, some players chose to tackle it solo — which proved to be quite challenging. In response, FromSoftware has made the solo experience easier with a new patch.

Patch 1.01.1 brings two key improvements for solo players. First, an Automatic Revival feature is now enabled by default during fights with the eight final bosses, giving players an extra life in tough battles. Second, solo adventurers will earn more runes on each expedition. You can find the full list of changes on Bandai Namco’s official website.

Elden Ring Nightreign launched on May 30 for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Unlike the original Elden Ring, this multiplayer spin-off received mixed reviews, with some calling it more of a clumsy mod than a full game.
