Some studios stop supporting their games at best a year after release, even if during the announcement stage they promised to provide the title with content for many years. CD Projekt is an exception to the rule: this company seems to be addicted to polishing Cyberpunk 2077.
During the REDstreams broadcast, CDPR employees announced that they had been secretly working on patch 2.3 for their cyberpunk action game all this time. However, the developers did not go into details—they only specified that the main Cyberpunk team was not working on it. The premiere of version 2.3 is scheduled for June 26, and the authors will share details closer to its launch.
Let us recall that the previous major update to Cyberpunk 2077 (numbered 2.2) was released in December 2024. The Virtuos team helped the studio with its production.
