Former Google employees have launched a new startup that introduces a voice assistant called Huxe. Unlike many chatbots, it is not aimed at creating pictures or other entertainment, but at helping with real, everyday work tasks.
Huxe’s main task is to create a personalized audio briefing based on incoming emails, calendar events, and news topics of interest to the user. Another feature of the AI assistant is the DeepCast function: the neural network can quickly compile an information summary for a request like “What happened to the price of NVIDIA shares?”
According to the developers, the first build of Huxe was assembled within a month of the startup’s founding in December 2024. The company plans to integrate with more apps to expand the AI’s “horizons.” Huxe is currently only available in the US and UK on devices running iOS 15.1 and above.
