The wave of crowdfunded Russian voiceovers for video games continues, as gamers have successfully backed a new campaign for the localization of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, organized by the GamesVoice studio.
To produce the Russian-language voiceover for the French-developed title, GamesVoice set a goal of 633,000 rubles. The amount was raised in just over a month, with half of the funds collected within the first nine days.
“Gommage will conclude the fundraiser at the end of the week. If you’d like to support the project—just to be able to tell your descendants you were part of it—there’s still time. We’re already working on the localization and getting ready to showcase the first clips featuring the Russian voiceover. Stay tuned—it’s coming soon,” the developers shared.
The release date for the Russian localization has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be completed within the next year to year and a half.
