Honor has expanded its audio product lineup with the launch of the EarBuds X9, a new pair of true wireless stereo (TWS) headphones positioned in the mid-price segment. These earbuds emphasize strong battery performance, active noise cancellation (ANC), and high-quality audio, as evidenced by their Golden Ear certification.
The Honor EarBuds X9 feature large 12.4 mm audio drivers, promising rich and detailed sound reproduction. A key selling point is the inclusion of active noise cancellation technology, which Honor claims can reduce ambient noise by up to 49 dB. This level of noise reduction should provide a significantly immersive listening experience in various environments.
Beyond noise cancellation, the EarBuds X9 also offer fixed spatial audio, creating a wider soundstage that remains consistent regardless of head movement. Additionally, users will have access to several equalizer presets, allowing for customization of the audio output to suit their preferences.
In terms of battery life, Honor claims that the EarBuds X9 can provide up to 9 hours of continuous music playback on a single charge with ANC turned off. When combined with the charging case’s battery capacity, the total playback time extends to an impressive 45 hours. For added convenience, the headphones support fast charging: just 10 minutes of charging can provide up to three hours of listening time.
The Honor EarBuds X9 are currently available for purchase in China at a price of $41. Information regarding their availability in other markets has not yet been announced. These features position the Honor EarBuds X9 as a compelling option for users seeking a balance of premium features and affordability in the TWS headphone market.
