HUAWEI has expanded its lineup of HarmonyOS-powered laptops with the release of a new model called Qingyun HM940. Key features of this device include a touch-enabled OLED screen, advanced acoustics, and deep integration within the HUAWEI ecosystem.
While HUAWEI has not yet disclosed the specific processor model or dedicated graphics chip, the rest of the specifications are known. RAM options include 24 GB or 32 GB, depending on the configuration, and storage is available at 512 GB or 1 TB. The 14.2-inch display boasts a resolution of 3120 x 2080 pixels, supports a 120 Hz refresh rate, offers 100% sRGB coverage, and achieves a peak brightness of up to 1000 nits.

The new product has dimensions of 310 x 222 x 13.5 mm and weighs only 970 grams, emphasizing its lightweight design. The HUAWEI Sound acoustic system, featuring six speakers and four microphones, delivers a premium audio experience. Its 70 Wh battery supports rapid 140-watt charging, capable of reaching 70% capacity in just half an hour. Connectivity options include three USB Type-C ports, along with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.2 modules.

Another standout feature of the laptop is its support for the Super Celia Business AI suite. This suite includes powerful AI functionalities such as a presentation generator, text extraction from images, and voice control. Additionally, the on-screen cursor can follow the user’s gaze, seamlessly transitioning from the laptop to a HUAWEI smartphone.
The price and official release date for the HUAWEI Qingyun HM940 have not yet been announced.
