The AndroidHeadlines portal, citing industry sources, has published fresh details about the future Google foldable smartphone. If you believe the insider, the gadget will not only “pump up” its hinge compared to its predecessor, but will also receive a record dust and water protection class for its type of design.
Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold
According to the source, the new hinge will be smaller, which will not only slightly reduce the size of the device, making it more “grippable”, but also increase the diagonal of the external screen from 6.3 to 6.4 inches. It is also reported that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be the first in its segment to receive IP68 protection class. Many modern “folds” are not afraid of immersion in water, but they cannot boast of dust resistance.
The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is expected to be announced on August 20 along with the Google Pixel 10 series, and will go on sale no earlier than August 28 this year. The price of the smartphone is not yet known.
