Keychron has unveiled improved versions of its M2 and M3 Mini gaming mice. Both models feature more advanced sensors and a significantly increased maximum polling rate of 8,000 Hz, while retaining the key technical features of their base versions.
Keychron M2 8K is based on the PixArt 3950 sensor (up to 30,000 dpi, 50G, 750 ips) and boasts a polling rate of up to 8000 Hz when connected via radio via the included USB receiver. Alternatively, you can use a Bluetooth module or a USB-C cable. In wireless mode, the battery with a capacity of 600 mAh, according to the manufacturer, is enough for 140 hours of operation.
The dimensions of the mouse body, “sharpened” for right-handed users, are 121.5 x 66.7 x 40.6 mm. Under the main buttons are Huano 80M microswitches.
The M3 Mini model has the same hardware characteristics, but is “packed” in a more compact symmetrical case (119.9 x 65.3 x 38.9 mm) weighing 55 grams. Both models can be customized in the Keychron Launcher software – change the button binding, polling frequency, record macros, and so on.
The new products are already on sale in the US at a price of $69 each.
