Keychron has updated its C3 Pro and C1 Pro TKL mechanical keyboards, adding 8000Hz polling rate support to their list of features. Both models come in three versions with different switch types, are equipped with noise isolation, and support a useful feature for gamers that improves control accuracy in dynamic games.
The Keychron C3 Pro 8K with Gasket Mount design comes with three types of switches: linear Keychron Super Red, as well as tactile Super Brown and Super Banana (all options support hot-swapping). PBT keycaps are made using a double-molded method, and the multi-layer noise-insulating system of the case consists of two layers of foam material, a silicone insert, and PET and IXPE substrates.
The new product is equipped with customizable RGB backlighting and legs with an angle of 4, 6 and 8.7°. Among other features of the model, the manufacturer highlights support for QMK firmware, a polling rate of 8000 Hz and the presence of an analogue of the Razer Snap Tap function (priority is given to the last pressed key, even if the previous one is not released).
The C1 Pro 8K model also supports a Snap Tap analogue, a polling rate of 8000 Hz and QMK installation, is equipped with similar switches, backlighting and hardware platform, but is simpler (without Gasket construction, an additional layer of foam and with a smaller number of substrates). Keycaps are made by double molding, but received an OSA profile. The angles of inclination of the keyboard are also different – these are 4.8, 8.5 and 10.7 °.
Both new products went on sale in China at a price of $54.
