LG Releases Curved Monitor with WebOS and Office 365
LG has added a new 34-inch model, the LG 34SR63QA-W, to its monitor lineup. This monitor features a curved screen, and one of its key highlights is the pre-installed webOS operating system. This allows users to work with documents and access streaming services directly on the monitor, even without connecting to a computer.
The monitor features a curved (1800R) VA panel with a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 100 Hz, a brightness of up to 300 nits, and a stated response time of 5 ms. Among other panel characteristics, the manufacturer highlights 99% sRGB color gamut coverage and a wide viewing angle of 178 degrees.
Audio is provided by built-in speakers with a power output of 7W. The interface options include a USB Type-C port, two HDMI ports, and a USB hub with two Type-A connectors. Wireless connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac modules. By connecting a mouse and keyboard to the monitor, users can access applications within the Microsoft 365 office suite.
The LG 34SR63QA-W has gone on sale in the US market at a price of $399.
