Motorola G96 5G: Specifications and Design Leaked Before Launch

Even before its official unveiling, detailed specifications of the mid-range Motorola G96 5G smartphone have surfaced online. Additionally, high-quality renders from insiders have revealed the design of the upcoming device.

According to Android Headlines, the smartphone will feature a 6.67-inch curved pOLED display with a smooth 144 Hz refresh rate. A 32-megapixel front-facing camera will be housed in a centered punch-hole cutout at the top of the screen. On the rear, the device is expected to sport a dual-camera setup consisting of a 50 MP primary sensor (Sony LYT-700C) and an 8 MP macro lens.

The phone’s performance will be driven by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, coupled with a memory configuration of 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. A 5500 mAh battery is tipped to provide the device with its power. The renders showcase the smartphone in four distinct color options: Cattleya Orchid (lavender), Greener Pastures (dark green), Dresden Blue (blue), and Ashleigh Blue (pale blue), all featuring a vegan leather back finish.

While not officially confirmed, reports suggest that the Motorola G96 5G will be launched in the Chinese market towards the end of 2025 with an estimated price of around $270 USD (approximately ₹22,500 INR).
