Motorola Launches ‘Ultra-Autonomous’ G86 Power and Other New Smartphones

Motorola has expanded its smartphone lineup with the debut of three new models: G56 5G, G86 5G, and G86 Power 5G. Among them, the G86 Power 5G stands out for offering the largest battery in the series and robust protection against dust, water, and harsh environmental conditions.

Motorola G86 Power 5G

The G86 Power 5G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2712 × 1220 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor and equipped with a 6720 mAh battery supporting 30W fast charging.

Housed in an 8.65mm thick body, the phone offers IP69-rated water and dust resistance and meets MIL-STD-810H military durability standards. On the camera front, it includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main sensor and a 32MP front-facing camera. The device is priced in Europe starting from €329.

Motorola G86 5G

The base G86 model shares the same display, processor, and general design as the Power version. However, it comes with a smaller 5200 mAh battery, while maintaining 30W charging. It also has a thinner body at 7.87mm, and Motorola does not specify a Sony sensor in the 50MP rear camera. The starting price in Europe is €279.

Motorola G56 5G

Rounding out the trio, the G56 5G sports a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with a 2400 × 1080 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor and features the same 50MP + 32MP camera setup as the G86. A 5200 mAh battery with 30W fast charging powers the device. It is priced from €249 in Europe.
