Zotac showcased a new iteration of its portable gaming console, the Gaming Zone, at Computex 2025. While the new model shares an external resemblance with the original version, it boasts significant differences in its technical specifications.
Zotac Gaming Zone
The console is equipped with a 7-inch OLED screen featuring a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 800 nits. Its processing power comes from the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, which includes integrated Radeon 890M graphics and is paired with 24/32 GB of LPDDR5x memory. Notably, the new Gaming Zone runs on the Manjaro Linux distribution, optimized for portable gaming devices.
The feature set also includes a 48.5 Wh battery, expandable storage via an M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, a Wi-Fi 6E module, two USB 4 ports, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a microSD card slot. In addition to the standard gamepad button layout, the device incorporates a pair of touch panels, a fingerprint scanner, and a built-in kickstand.
