Nokia Introduces High-Speed ​​Beacon Routers with Wi-Fi 7 Support

Nokia’s portfolio has been expanded with two routers at once: Beacon 4 and Beacon 9. Both new products have a minimalist design and are aimed at home use, providing, according to the manufacturer, a stable connection and high bandwidth.

The compact Beacon 4 model supports dual-band Wi-Fi 7 (2×2 MIMO, 160 MHz bandwidth, up to 3.6 Gbps) and provides wireless coverage of up to 250 m². The device body houses a WAN port (2.5 Gbps) and a pair of gigabit LAN ports.

Nokia Beacon 9 is equipped with a three-band Wi-Fi module (2.4 + 5 + 6 GHz). The maximum throughput of this model is up to 9.4 Gbps, the covered area is up to 280 m², and the bandwidth is up to 320 MHz. In addition, the older model is equipped with a 2.5 Gbps LAN port.

Both routers are “packed” in white matte cases without any decorative inserts. Nokia Corteca is used as a software platform.
