Realme has officially unveiled its latest smartphone, the Neo7 Turbo, at an event in China. This new model boasts top-tier performance thanks to its powerful processor and is specifically designed to appeal to mobile gamers who also prioritize long battery life and robust durability.
The Realme Neo7 Turbo features a spacious 6.8-inch OLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The bezels surrounding the screen are remarkably thin, measuring just 1.3mm. The display also supports high-frequency 4608Hz PWM dimming for comfortable viewing and can reach an impressive peak brightness of 6500 nits.

Powering the device is the cutting-edge MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset, which has reportedly achieved an AnTuTu benchmark score exceeding 2.4 million points, indicating flagship-level performance. The Neo7 Turbo comes with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offers storage options up to a massive 1 TB using UFS 4.0 technology. To ensure sustained performance during intense gaming sessions, Realme has incorporated its proprietary GT performance engine 2.0 and a dual-layer cooling system featuring a large 7700 mm² vapor chamber.
A substantial 7200 mAh battery provides exceptional battery life, which Realme claims can last up to two days with typical usage. The phone also supports blazing-fast 100W wired charging, capable of replenishing 50% of the battery in just 19 minutes. Additionally, a bypass charging feature allows users to play games while the phone is plugged in without generating excessive heat or damaging the battery, as power is supplied directly to the motherboard.
In the camera department, the Neo7 Turbo sports a versatile setup including a 50 MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 16 MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The rear camera system supports 4K video recording at 60 frames per second. Adding to its robustness, the smartphone boasts an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, offering significant protection against the elements.
The Realme Neo7 Turbo is currently available for pre-order in China, with official sales commencing on May 31st. Pricing starts at 1999 yuan (approximately $277 USD) for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage configuration, and goes up to 2699 yuan (approximately $374 USD) for the top-tier variant with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
