Spy screenshots have appeared online, demonstrating the supposed design of the upcoming Xiaomi HyperOS 3 firmware. Judging by the leak, the proprietary shell will see significant changes in terms of the user interface.
The screenshots clearly show the new style of app icons with rounded corners. In addition, the standard search bar has disappeared from the home screen, and the appearance of the indicators located at the top of the display has been updated. At the same time, some elements are somewhat reminiscent of Apple’s solutions in the Glass UI design.
According to unofficial information, soon after the release, HyperOS 3 will be deployed on almost a hundred gadgets, including 33 Xiaomi models, 44 Redmi devices and 19 POCO representatives. Depending on the model, HyperOS 3 will be based on Android 15 or Android 16.
The announcement of HyperOS 3 is expected in October 2025, followed by a phased rollout of the firmware. Xiaomi itself has not yet made any official statements on this matter.
