TCL Releases Bezel-less Mini-LED TVs with 144 Hz Refresh Rate

TCL Launches Frameless Mini-LED TVs with 144Hz: TCL has launched a new series of smart TVs, the QM8K, featuring mini-LED matrices. A key highlight of these new models is their virtually invisible display bezels. They also boast high brightness and an anti-glare coating, ensuring comfortable viewing even in daylight conditions.

According to the manufacturer, the new models, equipped with TCL CrystGlow matrices, offer 35% more dimming zones and 65% higher peak brightness compared to the QM7K series. Display viewing angles have also been improved compared to last year’s models.

TCL emphasizes that the new TCL Halo Control System helps eliminate the halo effect around bright objects on dark backgrounds, a common issue in previous generations of mini-LED TVs. The matrices support a 144 Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology, ensuring smooth visuals for gaming.

Other notable specifications include support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, a Bang & Olufsen acoustic system (DTS Virtual:X), and a new Art Mode that allows the TV to function as a picture frame.

Here’s a breakdown of the US pricing for the TCL QM8K series:

  • TCL QM8K 65″: $2299
  • TCL QM8K 75″: $2999
  • TCL QM8K 85″: $3799
  • TCL QM8K 98″: $6499
