TCL Unveils Curved Monitor That Covers Nearly the Entire Field of View

The TCL monitor range now includes a wide-format 57-inch model 57R94 with a curvature radius of 1000R. Thanks to this diagonal and degree of curvature, the matrix seems to “surround” the user. In addition, the new product is notable for its other technical characteristics.

The monitor display, manufactured using QD mini-LED technology and 2304 dimming zones, has a resolution of 7680×2160 pixels (aspect ratio of 32:9). The refresh rate is 120 Hz, the response time is 1 ms. According to the manufacturer, the curved panel provides a 120-degree field of view, which is close to human vision. This property can be used both in games and for work.

To improve the smoothness of the picture, AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC technologies are used, and to “pump up” the brightness (peak – 1400 cd / m²) there is HDR support (VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification). TCL 57R94 will go on sale in France at the end of June 2025, the price of the monitor has not yet been announced.
