TECNO has finally teased the launch of the Pova Curve 5G novelty smartphone that offers a complete overview of the noveltys design, elaborates on its key features before its official debut on May 29th. The teaser images depict a stylish “waterfall screen” look, which sees the screen arch steeply over the sides of the phone’s body in order to deliver a smooth and engaging display.
The teasers show the device with a vertical dual-camera setup on the back along with LED flash. It is now essentially confirmed that the main camera sensor will be 64-megapixel. The casing of the phone is also stamped with a notification about the addition of an NFC chip for contactless payments and file sharing. In official materials, the device is regularly seen in silver and black colors, we have no way of knowing if there will be more colors made available.
According to unverified reports based on the trend of prior reports, it appears that the TECNO Pova Curve 5G may have a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. Reports suggest RAM configurations of up to 8GB and internal storage configurations of up to 128GB. There will also be a 5500 mAh battery (45-watt charging) to ensure adequate usage times and fast charging.
In addition, it appears that the Pova Curve 5G may have AI features from the CAMON series formerly, like the ELLA smart assistant and useful features such as “Circle to Search”, which allows for easy retrieval of information.
The TECNO Pova Curve 5G will be launching on May 29th, and that’s when the full specification list, price point, and availability will be announced. Attention to a curved panel and AI capabilities implies that TECNO want to offer a trendy and upgraded 5G enabled phone in the fiercely contested mid-range.
