The first PS3 emulator for Android has appeared on Google Play

The first emulator of the PlayStation 3 game console for the Android platform has appeared in the Google Play app store. The program is called aPS3e and this time the source code is open.

Let us recall that the author of aPS3e had previously made the source code closed and set a collection amount of $2000 for publication. As a result, the project was removed from GitHub. After a wave of indignation, the author nevertheless posted the source code on GitHub, but there is no license page or any mention of it in the Readme.

Despite this, aPS3e is officially published on Google Play. There is a paid version for $5, which will go to support the project. It is noted that the emulator is still in the early stages of development, so stable performance should not be expected even on a flagship device.
