In this edition of Insiders: Xiaomi 16 rumored to feature a transparent back cover; vivo T4 Ultra expected with flagship Dimensity processor; iPhone 17 Air tipped to be lighter than Galaxy S25 Edge.
Xiaomi 16 Might Feature a Transparent Back Cover An insider at Digital Chat Station has reported that Xiaomi may revisit the design of a transparent back cover for its upcoming flagship smartphone. The company previously utilized this design in the Mi 8 Explorer Edition, Mi 9 Transparent Edition, and Mi 10 Ultra Transparent Edition.
It remains uncertain whether the brand will emulate Nothing by incorporating decorative elements into the gadget’s design or simply use static inserts that simulate internal components, as they have done in the past. There has been no official confirmation regarding the release of such a model yet.
Vivo T4 Ultra Expected to Feature Flagship Dimensity Processor Vivo is rumored to be preparing to launch the T4 Ultra smartphone in June – a near-flagship device powered by the high-performance MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor and 8 GB of RAM. It is also expected to have a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Other anticipated features include a Sony IMX921 main camera and a periscope module, as well as 90-watt charging and proprietary neural network functionalities such as AI Erase 2.0 and AI Image Studio. The precise announcement date and price of the smartphone have not yet been disclosed.
iPhone 17 Air Tipped to Be Lighter Than Galaxy S25 Edge In September of this year, the iPhone 16 Plus is expected to be replaced by the iPhone 17 Air. According to updated insider information, it will weigh 146 grams – less than Samsung’s new ultra-thin device. This reduced weight is partly attributed to the Apple device’s aluminum body.
According to online sources, the smartphone’s frame will weigh between 25-30 grams, and the OLED display and battery will each weigh 35 grams. The battery capacity is rumored to be no more than 3000 mAh, which may impact the new product’s battery life.
