Ahead of its premiere, the Honor Magic V5 foldable smartphone was spotted in real footage published by reliable insider Digital Chat Station. In addition, the source named the key hardware specifications of the upcoming new product.
In the “spy” photos, the Honor Magic V5 is shown in a gold-colored case with a massive round module of the main camera. It is already known that the thickness of the device when folded will be 8.8 mm – this is the minimum figure on the market of folding smartphones today.
Despite its small thickness, the Magic V5 contains a 6100 mAh battery (another record in its segment) with support for 66-watt classic and 50-watt wireless charging.
The camera unit will include three 50-megapixel modules: the main one, the ultra-wide-angle one, and the periscope one with support for 3x optical zoom. According to rumors, the Honor Magic V5 will receive a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 6.45-inch external OLED display, and a 7.95-inch main flexible screen with a 2K resolution.
The presentation of Honor Magic V5 is scheduled for July 2.
