V-Color Unveils Xfinity Manta DDR5 RAM with Integrated LCD Displays

At Computex 2025, V-Color showcased its innovative Xfinity Manta series DDR5 RAM modules. The standout feature of these DIMMs is a built-in LCD display on the side of each module. This integrated screen provides real-time monitoring of crucial RAM parameters, including:

  • Capacity
  • Temperature
  • Operating Speed
  • Operating Voltage

Users can customize the information displayed on the screen through V-Color’s proprietary software. The company clarified that the black horizontal lines visible in some product photos are due to the display’s low refresh rate during the demonstration and are not indicative of a defect.

The inclusion of a display on the module’s side necessitates the absence of memory chips on that surface. This design choice currently limits the maximum capacity per module. V-Color has so far presented dual-channel kits comprising two 24 GB modules, totaling 48 GB.

Beyond the integrated display, the Xfinity Manta modules boast stylish aluminum heatsinks for efficient thermal management and feature vibrant, customizable RGB lighting on the top. Recognizing that some enthusiasts with four-DIMM motherboards might desire a more visually balanced aesthetic even with only two RAM modules installed, V-Color plans to offer inexpensive LED dummy modules that match the design, allowing for a fully illuminated four-slot configuration.
