vivo has expanded its audio lineup with the launch of the affordable TWS Air 3 wireless earphones, offering modern features at a budget-friendly price. Notable highlights include impressive battery life and support for advanced functions rarely seen in this price range.
The vivo TWS Air 3 is equipped with 12mm dynamic drivers and supports AAC, SBC, and LC3 audio codecs. It also features spatial audio and DeepX 3.0 technology, which enhances vocals along with low and high frequencies. The accompanying mobile app includes preset equalizer settings for various listening scenarios, including audiobooks and bass boost.
According to vivo, the earphones offer up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge, with total battery life extending to 45 hours when used with the charging case. A quick 10-minute charge provides enough power for three hours of music playback. The audio latency is rated at 44 ms, and just 33 ms in karaoke mode.
For voice calls, the TWS Air 3 uses an L-shaped microphone designed to effectively suppress wind noise. It connects via Bluetooth 6.0 and is optimized for use with vivo’s custom Android interface, BlueOS. When paired with a BlueOS smartwatch, the earphones can be used for voice commands and sending voice messages through apps like WeChat.
If your smartphone also runs BlueOS, you can use the earphones to control the camera, issue voice commands, dictate messages, locate the earbuds via a sound signal, and customize touch controls.
The vivo TWS Air 3 is now available in China, priced at approximately $14.
