Xiaomi XRING O1 Mobile Processor Tested in Benchmarks

Xiaomi recently announced its own mobile platform, the XRING O1, marking its first such development since the less successful Surge S1 chip released in 2017. Benchmark results for the new processor have already appeared online, and this time they look impressive.

According to the test results, the proprietary processor scored 1860 points in the single-core test and 7449 points in the multi-core test within the benchmark. This performance places it roughly on par with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for single-core tasks. In multi-core performance, it surpasses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 by approximately 50%, reaching a level comparable to the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra typically scores around 2121 points in single-core and 6654 points in multi-core Geekbench tests.
